Finding your sane folders in Superhuman

All your emails stay on your server

At no time do your emails leave your host’s email server. In other words, SaneBox never downloads your email nor does it upload your emails to your SaneBox Dashboard (account). All emails processed by SaneBox will always remain in your own personal (or work) email account.

How do I find my Sane folders?

The magic of SaneBox email prioritizing works from anywhere you read mail, including the awesome Superhuman email client for desktop or laptop, the Superhuman mobile app for iOS, and most all other email clients or hosting webmail too.

As usual, even from in Superhuman for desktop or laptop, we can navigate email account folders by using the menu button at the top-left. And on Superhuman for iOS or iPadOS, we can swipe-up from the bottom to bring up the folder list.

We’d suggest using Superhuman keyboard shortcuts as the most efficient way to “go to” Sane folders wherever you use Superhuman, and I’ll go over those steps for you now.

Find Sane folders in Superhuman with Ctrl+K “go to”

1.) Bring up your Superhuman command prompt, with Ctrl+K.

2.) Enter “go to”, followed by the first few characters of the desired @Sane folder name.

3.) Select, and Enter.

Note: Please also visit our help page that covers some other important things to know about using Superhuman and SaneBox together.

Locating your sane folders by mouse on desktop or laptop

We know that avoiding use of the mouse in Superhuman is key, yet It is used very briefly here.

1.) Start by choosing the email account, if you have more than one in Superhuman.

2.) Select from the menu button for that email account, top-left of your screen.

3.) Browse or scroll down the list and select the sane folder.

Still don’t see your sane folders via Superhuman on desktop or laptop?

If you’ve received our welcome email (or see from your dashboard that SaneBox account setup has completed) and you still don’t see your sane folders under your email account folder list from the top-left menu. If you have a long list, it may just be harder to spot.

So when you’re ready with a keyboard, please try Ctrl+K for a Superhuman “go to” command.

Finding your sane folders in Superhuman iOS app without a keyboard

1.) Tap, hold, and then swipe-up from the bottom margin to expose the folder list.

2.) Scroll down to locate and select a @Sane folder, to review its contents.

Training moves for SaneBox

You can train SaneBox within Superhuman, just by moving emails from the Inbox to a Sane folder or vice versa, with a Ctrl+K and “move” command. You can also train or just process your mail from your daily SaneBox Digest and receive a notice to do so on a schedule you set. Or we also suggest you process or re-train from your SaneBox Email Cleanup tool too.

The SaneBox trainings will then show on your trainings page a few moments later: www.sanebox.com/dashboard/training

Tip: Archive items in a @Sane folder easily from your SaneBox Digest, or use a Superhuman Ctrl+K command to “remove” all labels.
