Training for a whole Mailing List vs. an Individual Sender or Contact

Fine-Tuning SaneBox Training for Mailing Lists

SaneBox helps you organize your email efficiently. When you train an email from a mailing list, you might receive a verification email from us. This email ensures you want to train ALL senders on that list, not just the specific email you moved.

Here’s why we send a verification email:

  • Training Accuracy: We want to make sure you intend to move all emails from a mailing list (like “jmap.ietf.org” in our example) to the chosen folder (e.g., “@SaneNews”).

What to do with the Verification Email:

  1. Review the Mailing List Details: Carefully check the email to ensure you want every sender on that list to be directed to the chosen folder.
  2. Train for the Entire List: If that’s your intention, simply disregard the verification email.
  3. Train Individual Senders Only: Click the button in the verification email to train only specific senders from the list.

Made a Mistake? No Problem!

You can easily adjust your training decisions later:

  • Edit Existing Training: Visit your SaneBox Dashboard’s “Trainings” page. There you can modify your training for that mailing list.
