Oh my gosh, Google says SaneBox isn't a Verified Developer

Don’t Worry, SaneBox is Safe!

We understand you might be concerned after seeing a message about SaneBox not being a verified developer. Here’s the scoop:

What Happened?

  • Google recently launched a new verification program for developers.
  • Briefly, SaneBox wasn’t “verified” because we used a specific Google trademark on our buttons (a minor technicality).
  • This has since been resolved, and SaneBox is now a verified developer.

Important Points:

  • This never affected your account security. Your privacy remains our top priority.
  • It was simply a matter of using the correct Google trademark on our buttons.

Resolving the Warning (Optional):

  • If you see a warning, it might not update automatically. Here’s how to refresh it:
    1. Sign out of your SaneBox Dashboard.
    2. Go to your Google Security Checkup: link to Google Security Checkup
    3. Under “Third Party Access,” remove SaneBox access.
    4. Sign back into your SaneBox Dashboard (this will reauthorize).
