Using SaneBox with Redtail Webmail and Two-Factor Authentication

Using SaneBox with Redtail Webmail requires an app password if you have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled. This ensures extra security for your account.

Here’s how to create an app password in Redtail Webmail:

1. Log in to Redtail Webmail.
2. Click on Preferences.
3. Navigate to Accounts.
4. Select Applications.
5. Within “Account Security settings,” click the Add Application Code button.

Now that you have your app password, follow these steps to add it to your SaneBox account:

1. Visit your SaneBox Settings page: https://www.sanebox.com/dashboard/0/settings
2. Click on the Server tab.
3. Under Password select “Change.”
4. Enter your newly created Redtail Webmail app password.
