Outlook.com / HotMail specific: How Do I See Who Has Access to my Account?

See who and/or what cloud services or apps have been connecting to your email account.

  1. Follow this link and login, as the 1st step to seeing who has connected to your complimentary HotMail - msn.com - outlook.com email account. Microsoft Account Management.

  2. Next Click on the Menu (top-left) and select “Privacy”. Or you can use this following link to the same location: Microsoft account Privacy.

  3. Now scroll way down to the “Product and Service Activity” section, and click on the “View and Clear Apps and Services Activity” link. Or you can use this link to the same location: Microsoft Apps and Services Activity

  4. Here you can use the “Edit” links to view more details, or to even remove a Service or App from access to your HotMail / Outlook.com email account.

Note: An email address hosted on Office 365 may not be considered as a “Microsoft Account”, resulting in an error screen if you try to login for these steps. Please ask your Office 365 admin for assistance if you have a paid Office 365 email account. These steps apply to complimentary (free) email addresses via @hotmail.com or @msn.com or @outlook.com

How to remove connected devices.

  1. Follow this link and login, as the 1st step to seeing what devices are connected to your Microsoft account. Microsoft Account Management.

  2. From the site Menu icon (top-left), select “Devices”.

  3. Next click on the link to “Show Details” for a listed device.

  4. From here you can use the “More actions” link to remove a device, if warranted.
