Android: Finding SaneLater or any of your new Sane folders

Will SaneBox work with Android?

SaneBox works with any email client, device or provider (with the exception of POP-only providers, and there are very few of those left). The whole point of SaneBox is to get unimportant emails out of your way so that you can deal with your important ones now. We take all of those unimportant emails and put them into SaneLater so that you can either archive or delete them when you have free low-priority moments.

All your emails stay on your server.

At no time does your emails leave your host’s email server. In other words, SaneBox never downloads your email nor does it upload your emails to your SaneBox Dashboard (account). All emails processed by SaneBox will always remain in your own personal (or work) email account.

How do I find my Sane folders?

Gmail app

  1. Click the Menu button
  2. Scroll down until you see “SaneLater

Email app

  1. Click the Menu button,
  2. then to “Folders” (or Labels) to show the list of all of your folders.

That didn’t work. What now?

If that didn’t help so far, it may be that in order to successfully capture sync with all IMAP folder changes, you’ll need to refresh from the account list level (and not from deeper within an account itself).

In other words :

  • Make sure you are on the “your accounts” menu.

  • Press “menu” button

  • Press “refresh

Please also try the step of a complete shut down and fresh start of your Android phone or tablet.

If you still don’t see SaneLater or your other Sane folders, you might be using old-school POP server settings in your app. You need to switch to using IMAP (and not POP) in order to use SaneBox.

Luckily, here are instructions on how to do that: https://pop2imap.com
