@SaneNotSpam: How does it work? How do I make it move emails directly into my Inbox?

Stop Wasting Time Digging Through Spam!

We all know the struggle. You check your spam folder, worried you might miss something important. SaneBox can help!

Introducing @SaneNotSpam: This handy folder automatically catches emails from your spam that might be important.

Here’s how it works:
  • SaneBox keeps an eye on your spam for emails that look legit.
  • If it finds one, it moves it to your @SaneNotSpam folder for you to review.
  • Think it’s spam after all? Just move it back to spam (don’t worry, this won’t affect future emails from that sender).

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:
  • Not all heroes wear capes, but some use algorithms: SaneBox can’t tell if an email is truly safe. It just looks for things that seem important. Always be cautious and avoid clicking suspicious links.
  • Your email provider is still in charge of spam: If your email puts something in spam repeatedly, SaneBox can’t “teach” it otherwise. We’ll keep rescuing it, but it might end up back there.
  • Whitelisting your friends: If a friend’s email gets caught, simply add them to your contacts list. This helps your email provider recognize them as safe senders.
  • Stop the rescue: Want SaneBox to leave something alone? Move it from @SaneNotSpam to your SaneBlackHole. This sends it straight to trash (if your email doesn’t already do that).

Bonus Tip (for Gmail users)

You can quickly move emails from @SaneNotSpam to your inbox directly from your digest email.
