No Worries, SaneBox Works with Gmail Tabs!
Good news! SaneBox continues to function seamlessly with the new Gmail Tabs feature.
What are Gmail Tabs?
Gmail Tabs automatically categorize incoming emails into different sections based on content:
- Primary: Important one-on-one conversations.
- Social: Updates from social networks.
- Promotions: Deals, offers, and marketing emails.
- Updates: Personal receipts and bills.
- Forums: Messages from online groups.
How SaneBox Works with Tabs:
- SaneLater Folder: Unimportant emails will still be filtered into your “@SaneLater” folder, keeping your Inbox focused.
- Sane Defer Folders: Emails moved to “@SaneTomorrow” or “@SaneNextWeek” will return to the “Primary” tab after the snooze period ends, regardless of their original tab.
- Sane Attachments: Attachments will continue to be stored in your preferred service (Dropbox, Box, etc.) with a link embedded in the email, no matter which Gmail tab it lands in.
- SaneBlackHole: Moving an email to “@SaneBlackHole” from any tab will mark the sender for future blackholing (sending directly to trash).
- SaneReminders: Reminder emails will arrive in your “Primary” tab by default, but you can train Gmail to categorize them differently.
- DIY Folders: Emails directed to custom Sane folders will continue to be delivered there automatically.
- SaneNotSpam: SaneBox will keep an eye on your spam folder and move potentially important emails to your “@SaneNotSpam” folder.
In short, SaneBox and Gmail Tabs work together to optimize your email experience!
