How does SaneBox determine trainings?

How Does SaneBox Learn Your Email Preferences?

SaneBox uses a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and your own actions to determine how to categorize your emails:

For Individual Senders (People):

  • AI Analysis: SaneBox’s algorithms analyze incoming emails from actual people to decide if they belong in your Inbox or a folder like “@SaneLater.”
  • Your Training: The way you move emails (e.g., dragging them to different folders) also influences how SaneBox handles future emails from those senders.

For Services (Newsletters, Notifications):

  • Training by Context: SaneBox categorizes service emails based on both the sender and the email subject. For example, you can train newsletters from a store to go to “@SaneNews” while shipping notifications from the same store might still be directed to “@SaneLater.”

Privacy Note:

To protect your privacy, SaneBox doesn’t download the entire email body. Instead, it relies on sender information and email subject lines to determine importance.

By understanding this process, you can effectively train SaneBox to manage your inbox and keep important emails readily available.
