How do I find my email server settings?

If your email client uses IMAP to view your email, then your email client will have all the information necessary for registering with SaneBox. You will need: an IMAP server URL, username, password.

Below are links for how to find these items in each of the major email clients. If your email client is not listed here, please create a Support request and we will be happy to help you find it.

ActiveSync - If your email server uses ActiveSync , we will attempt to discover your server settings. If we are unable to discover them, we’ll need your hostname, username, and email password.

Exchange - If your are using Exchange then log into your Exchange Outlook Web Mail. After logging in copy and paste the URL in your browser to the SaneBox registration field for email server.

Will SaneBox work with my Email Client?

SaneBox works with any email client, device or provider (with the exception of POP-only providers, and there are very few of those left). Did not see yours listed above? Shoot us an email at support@sanebox.com and we'll walk you through it.

The whole point of SaneBox is to get unimportant emails out of your way so that you can deal with your important ones now. We take all of those unimportant emails and put them into SaneLater so that you can either archive or delete them when you have a free moment.
