What is SaneBox and how does it work?

SaneBox is a service that automatically sorts your email into several folders on your own host’s email server, based on each email’s importance.

  • For example, your Inbox contains email that you actually need to read now, and we create a folder called SaneLater which contains email that you can put off reading until later. The best part is that you don’t need to train SaneBox. It’s smart enough to figure out which emails are important to you.

  • SaneBox has other optional feature folders you can utilize including ones that will move emails out of your Inbox until tomorrow or next week, one for when you have only five minutes to check your email between meetings, and one for your newsletters, and more.

All your emails stay on your server

At no time does your email leave your host’s email server. In other words, SaneBox never downloads your email nor does it upload your emails to your SaneBox Dashboard (account). All emails processed by SaneBox will always remain in your own personal (or work) email account.

When you sign up for SaneBox, we analyze your email account looking for who is important to you. Those that are deemed unimportant, are filtered to your SaneLater folder (within your own email account) or to another preferred Sane folder that you enabled during your signup.
