Never Miss a Follow-Up Again with SaneNoReplies!
SaneNoReplies is your secret weapon for staying on top of important emails that haven’t received a response. It’s like a personal follow-up assistant, automatically keeping track of your outbound emails and notifying you when they haven’t gotten a reply within the last 4 weeks.
Here’s How it Works:
- Focused Tracking: SaneNoReplies only includes emails you initiated, ensuring it doesn’t clutter with replies to others’ messages.
-
Smart Exceptions:
- Need a response by a specific date? Use a SaneReminder address (e.g., 10hours.resend@sanebox.com) in CC/BCC. The email won’t show in SaneNoReplies if a reply arrives on time.
- Don’t expect a reply? Simply delete the email from SaneNoReplies to remove it from tracking.
Taking Action:
- Review and Respond: When you see an email in SaneNoReplies, it’s time to follow up! Open it and send a polite reminder to the recipient.
- Clean Up: If you no longer need a response, simply delete the email from SaneNoReplies. SaneBox will stop tracking it.
Note for Gmail/G Suite Users:
Since these platforms use labels instead of folders, remove the “SaneNoReplies” label from the email to keep it in your Sent Items view, while leaving the “Sent” label intact.
Addressing Common Questions:
- Why aren’t all emails included? We only track emails you initiate to avoid cluttering the folder with replies to others.
- Alternatives for Reminders: Forward emails requiring follow-up to a SaneReminder address (e.g., 10hours.resend@sanebox.com) for automated reminders in your inbox, even if not added to SaneNoReplies.
-
Reasons an Email Might Not Be Included:
- You didn’t start the thread.
- It was sent more than a month ago.
- You included a reminder address, NRN/FYI/NNTR in the subject, or a reply was already received.
-
Why Might a Replied-To Email Still Be There?
- Recent reply (up to 1 hour processing time).
- Replies not received from all recipients.
- Reply header mismatch with the sent email.
- Empty SaneNoReplies Folder? It won’t populate retroactively, only tracks future emails.
Additional Notes:
- The sender name in SaneNoReplies will be yours (as you sent the email). Click the email to see who it was sent to.
- Emails in Sent folders are usually marked “read.” SaneNoReplies copies them to a separate folder and marks them “unread” for easy identification.
Important:
- Don’t manually move emails to SaneNoReplies - they’ll be trashed (except for label removal in Gmail/G Suite).
- Use SaneReminders with SaneNoReplies for automated follow-up nudges to recipients.
Stay on top of your communication with SaneNoReplies! Never let an important email fall through the cracks again.
